Poker Face to Bye Bye in Schools: The Effect of School Administrators' Emotions on Job Satisfaction

This study investigates the effect of school administrators’ emotions enjoyment, pride, frustration, hopelessness and anxiety about their work on job satisfaction. 307 administrators working in public schools Turkey participated research. In research, causal comparative correlational survey model, which are among quantitative research methods, were used. The data collected using "Principal Emotion Inventory" "Job Satisfaction Scale". Descriptive evident-based statistics techniques used analysis data. As a result it was determined that satisfaction levels principals higher, as pleasant enjoyment higher than unpleasant anxiety. While gender, level did not make significant difference administrators, pride female male administrators. addition, principals' more vice principals. Suggestions have been developed for practitioners other researchers considering results limitations
